May Hill Farm
Situated on the edge of the National Trust grounds of May Hill, the cottages offer far reaching views over miles of stunning, untouched British countryside as far as the Black Mountains of southeast Wales. The Farm itself is home to a vast expanse of beautiful woodland and natural meadows, an ideal setting for a peaceful countryside escape.
Well known for its outstanding panoramic views and conserved wildlife, May Hill welcomes a whole range of outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, horse back riding, photography, painting, wildlife observation. The National Trust ground is home to wild horses and cattle who live together around the distinctive crown of pine trees at the summit.
May Hill Farm is under 10 minutes drive from us down scenic country lanes, with direct access to the National Trust site of May Hill. Within easy reach of Gloucester and the historic town of Ross on Wye, there are plenty of activities close by for non-riders and a wide and varied range of places to eat. Dogs are more than welcome at both May Hill Farm and at Greenacres Stables.
